Fees

For Turkish national students:

English Language Program : 4.600 TL
Undergraduate Programs (1 credit fee) : 450 TL
Associate Degree Programs (1 credit fee) : 280 TL

 

For foreign national students:

English Language Program : 4.600 TL
Undergraduate Programs (1 credit fee) : 135 USD
Associate Degree Programs (1 credit fee) : 280 TL

 

  • The fees listed above are applicable to students from other universities.
  • 8% VAT is included in the fees.

 

Payment Procedure:

Payments can be made in cash or through two installments by credit card.

Important note: The name of the student, ID number, and for how many credits the payment is being made must be clearly written on the bank receipt.

 For credit card payments, the “online payment” link on our website can be used. 

Credit cards that can be accepted for the 2 installments option: Bonus, Shop & Miles, Flexi, Maximum, Cardfinans, Worldcard (Vakıfbank & YKB), Axess, Wings, Fish and Paraf.

 

  • Personal checks and indenture notes are not accepted.
  • Cash payments directly to the university are not accepted.
  • ÖSYM scholarship students that registered in 2012 and afterwards to İstanbul Bilgi University are responsible to pay for Summer School.
    ÖSYM scholarship students that registered before 2012 are exempt from Summer School fees in accordance with their ÖSYM scholarship amount. No other scholarships or discounts are applicable except for the ÖSYM scholarship.

 

Course withdrawal:

27 June 2018 – Last day to withdraw from a course (full refund)
20 July 2018 - Last day to withdraw from a course (no refund). 
Students are entitled to withdraw from a course until 20 July 2018.  However, refunds for courses can only be made for withdrawals made up until 27 June 2018, no refunds can be made for any withdrawal made after this date. 

 

Refunds:

If a course is not offered:
If a student registers for a Summer School course and that course is not offered by decision of the respective faculty, the student must submit a petition to Student Accounting Office requesting a refund. The course cost is refunded to the credit card/bank account that was used to make the original payment within 10 business days.

If a student withdraws from a course:
If a student withdraws from a course, the student must submit a petition to Student Accounting Office requesting a refund by 27 June 2018 at the latest. The course cost is refunded to the credit card/bank account that was used to make the original payment within 10 business days.

 

2017-2018 Summer School Financial Calendar: 

13-22 June 2018: Registration period
Until 27 June 2018: Course withdrawal (100% refund)
After 27 June 2018: No refunds.
